Our yard at Seven Hills Farm in Iver sits immediately outside the western edge of the capital, so Hillingdon, Uxbridge, Hayes and West Drayton are ten to fifteen minutes away, and Ealing, Hounslow, Harrow, Chiswick and Richmond are a comfortable morning run. We are close enough to be a genuinely local scaffolder for West London without the congestion charge and low-emission-zone overheads of a firm based deeper in town.

The work here is dense, varied and heavily regulated. West London's housing is dominated by Victorian and Edwardian terraces, interwar suburban semis and post-war blocks, much of it converted to flats.
